DLTK's Crafts for Kids Turtle Three Dimensional Craft
Contributed by Leanne Guenther
Thanks to Marie for contributing this idea! This is a simple cut and paste turtle craft with a
twist -- you end up with a three dimensional turtle to display or play with.
Color the template pieces (if using the B&W version).
Cut slits in each corner of the large body shape.
Staple or tape the paper together so it overlaps slightly and forms a bowl shape.
Glue the eyes onto the head (moon shape).
Glue the head onto the front of the body
Kaitlyn, age 8, folded the head a little and glued that onto the body
(see photo at the top of this page). She was happy with this as
the head lay flat on the table that way.
You could also just glue the head on a little higher and not fold it.
Fold the tabs on the feet and tail and glue them to the inside of the body
