| Message: | Hi Tina, I had the same problem for my son, but came across a few ideas and all had a great time. Instead of bobbing for apples, bob for doughnuts attach a ribbon or string to a doughnut for each child then attach opposite end to tree branches or to a clothesline (make the stings according to the height of the children), hand must be at their backs and the first to finish eating the doughnut is the winner. Disguise a halloween characher and give them clues with missing letters in the clue as to who the character is. We also fixed up some fun and tastey food - Goole guts (vanilla pudding) with a few tidbits added green jellybeans (goblin boogers), candy corn (vampire teeth), black jellybeans (bat droppings), also you can place a hotdog and cheese in a tortilla and bake until crispy for Frankenstien Franks. We fill a small pumpkin up with the dip for the veggie platter. Have the children dress up and when they come to the door if you can have someone(dressed as a witch) sitting very still on a chair and ever so slowly reach out to grab them, you may get a scream out of them especially if you ahve creepy music in the back ground. Remember part of the fun is to have the house decorated as creepy as possible. Hope that this helps. I know my sons friends had a great time. |
