Subject:  Re: Cowboy Christmas Crafts
Message:  well, we decided to not do the cowboy christmas tree... we are going with a beachy theme instead. I have a LOT of stuff in the room already that will work great for that theme... fish nets, fish, cute ideas... found Mr. and Mrs. Santa paper dolls and one outfit was beach attire... it was soooooooo cute!! We have a pattern to make flip-flops (thongs) out of craft foam and sand pails out of solo cups... star fish out of sandpaper... and I'm thinking about lei garland... taking silk carnations apart and stringing the petals between straws. For a topper I'm going to get one of those big suns made with that honeycomb tissue paper stuff and for a tree skirt: beach towels draped around the stand.

Thanks for the cactus idea... I'll use it the next time we do our FIESTA theme. :)
