Subject:  Re: I need a car seat
Message:  Have you seen the Graco Turbo Booster booster seat? It doesn't have a back, so your child doesn't feel like a baby having to sit in a car seat, it is made for children ages 4-10 (minimum of 40 lbs to a maximum of 100 pounds). It uses a lap belt only that is worn like a regular seat belt. It also has a removeable cover that can go in the washing machine, and two cup holders (one on each side) that can be pushed into the seat when not in use. After struggling with booster seats where the lap bars would cause so much discomfort, we stuck with this one. It's compact, light-weight, and easy to switch from vehicle to vehicle which works well for homes with multiple cars, or in my case where I only need it when I am baby-sitting. California state law requires kids here to be in a seat of some sort until they are 6 and 60 pounds, all though they are trying to change it to 8 and 80 pounds. Either way this was the hassle prrof solution in our home. Toys R Us, K Mart, Sears, Wal Mart, and even Costco sells this particular booster seat, during a sale you can find it for around $20 which is a bargain for a booster seat compared to others we looked at.
Hope this helps!
Love in Christ,
Sarah
