| Message: | I thought I knew something about nuts, but I've never heard of horse chestnuts. Are they similar to plain old chestnuts? Anyway, perhaps you could use them for sorting. . either by size (if their sizes vary enough) or you could paint them different colors. I'm also picturing eyes, buttons, etc. for every season (i.e., pumpkin eyes, snowman buttons). Do you have a way to drill a hole through them?? They could be strung on yarn for necklaces or just for fun. How about a picture frame covered with them? If I knew their size I might be able to come up with some other ideas. Sarah, you are always so great at these things, any ideas??? |
