Subject:  Re: my niece needs ideas
Message:  stretchy snowman! I made this in 5 minutes at work this am as a demo to the kids. plain white paper, crayons, scissor, ruler, pencil, 2 circular somethings (I used plates of 2 different sizes) Draw round the two circular 'things', fold the biggest in half but don't crease it in half, draw lines with ruler from outside edge to almost inside, and from inside edge to almost outside, cut along lines, don't cut all way through edge and middle where lines don't reach, open up, glue on small circle. add features! add a hat, scarf and hands, hang from a small piece of cord. I did this with a class of 5 - 7 year olds last year, and my 2 year old daughter did one too. simple and effective. any good?
