Subject:  Nursery 0-2
Message:  I have just taken over the nursery (0-2 years old) at my church and last Sunday was my first day. Before I took over the children were just playing, had a snack and then went back to playing till their parents came to get them. I have decided to do lessons in the form of puppet shows. This will teach the older children and keep the younger ones attention. I have come up with a few great puppet shows and would love to share them with anyone that wants them.
I am stuck on a lesson though. I cannot figure out how to do it and my mother is stuck as well. The puppet show is called "I have feelings (don't be mean)". The child puppet is sad and tells his parent that he is sad because someone at church picked on them. My problem is how do you have the mother comfort this child? I don't have children but if I did I would not know what to do. I was picked on growing up but can't remember what my mother told me. Anyway I want to turn this lesson around into being a lesson that the children should not pick on others because everyone has feelings. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Oh great site by the way!
