Here's another great idea from Nina that I hope to work into the site eventually!

-----------------

I almost forgot about this. I was reading Bible Stories to Eric last Sunday and one picture caught my eye, the simple temple. It reminded me of your fantasy castle. I will make some variations. I will round off the square corners a bit to make it more rustic and make the same arched entrance/door (like the book) and add pasta to decorate around the arched doorway and all around the upper border to mimic the designs in the book. I thought that egg cartons could be cut out, painted to make the pews. I want to get that dark sand color so I will mix some paint to get the right color and have Eric paint it. Eric can also paste the pasta and paint the toilet paper rolls in a tan/beige color and help paint the egg carton pews. The temple can be used to recreate many Bible stories. The one that we read was: Where is Jesus? the one about Jesus as a youth going to the temple and his parents cannot find him, etc. But I already found numerous other stories that can use the temple as well. I thought should share this.
