Here are some craft recipes I have collected over the years that are easy to make......... Finger Paint Recipe #1 AGES 10-18 mths Yeild :1 finger painting session Supplies: 1/2 cup instant potato flakes water food colouring measuring cup mixing spoon bib washable surface Method: mix potatoe flakes with water to desired consistency.Add 2-3 drops food colouring.Place on washable surface in front of child. Note: try adding a bit of flavour extract too(for scent) once child is able to distinguish between play time & meal time

Finger Paint rRecipe #2 AGES 10-24 mths Yeild:1 finger painting session Supplies: 1/3 cup whipped whipping cream 1-2 drops flavour extract measuring cup mixing spoon bib serving tray Method: Put whipped cream on tray:add flavour extract.Instruct child to fingerpaint within tray limits. Note:Other edible paints are prepared cake mixes pudding

Finger Paint Recipe #3 AGES 12-24 mths Yeilds:1 fingerpainting session Supplies: 1/4 cup prepared custard 1/2 Tbsp coconut flakes measuring cup measuring spoons bib serving tray Method: Mix ingredents together.let sit for 5-10 minutes,to soften coconut flakes when using with yougest children.Place on a serveing tray to play.

Pitter-Patter paint AGES 15-24 mths Yeild:1 1/2 cups(4 colours) Supplies: 1/4 cup corn starch 1 tsp alum 2 cups cold water assorted food colourings thick paper medium saucepan measuring cup measuring spoons mixing spoon 1 jar with lid per clouor short-handled paint brushes Method:Measure corn starch and alum into saucepan; add cold water.Mix to dissolve completely.Bring to a gentle boil,while stirring constanly.Remove from the stove and cool.Pour anbout 1/3 cup into each of 4 jars.Add and blend in 1/4 tsp different food colouring to each jar.Keeps 2 weeks.No refrigeration necessary.

Well i hope these recipes for paints come in handy for everyone and I still have alot more for ages from 15 mths to 12 years so if anyone would like any just post a note and ill see what i can find.ENJOY JUDY!
