Ladybug Cake (regular round cake and licorice used)
Body- 1 round cake baked according to directions
Head- 1 cupcake
Place head and body close together, frost with red frosting (you can buy the frosting or tint your own -- if you tint your own, use food paste instead of drops as the paste gives more vibrant colors). Add chocolate wafer cookies for the spots, black gumdrops or brown smarties for the eyes and black shoestring licorice for stripe down the center (to separate the wings).
