Hi there,

I am preparing for the very same Themed party this Saturday for my daughter who is turning 3. Here are some of the things that I am planning to do and/or make.

1. Ladybug cake (gotten from Family.com) 2. printed some ladybug pictures to put in loot bags for coloring (from DLTK of course) 3. I already have a red fabric tablecloth and will be purchasing black round stickers to put on it 4. I printed a ladybug template from Daniellesplace.com and made my own wings template. What I did was cut the "wings" in half and attached to the "body" of the ladybug with 3/4" round head fasteners (available in any office supply store). The wings then will be moveable. When you spread the wings apart there is a message underneath that says, "Having you here...really hit the spot!" These will be handed out to guests as they leave as a thank you for coming. 5. I made ladybugs from paper plates to use as wall decorations. I don't remember where I got the idea. 6. I don't have any games planned because my daughter and her friends really don't care to play games and would rather just play in her room with her toys. 7. For the treat bags, my plan is to buy red lunch bags and use any leftover round black circles to decorate them and just put candy, a coloring picture, possibly a red pencil and a printed Scripture verse with a ladybug on it also from daniellesplace.com. 8. I am providing my guests with a meat and cheese tray with rolls, soda and condiments. The tradition among our circle of friends is to ask each guest to bring a dish to share, that way the load of providing the food is not laid on one person (the party-giver) and there's a bunch of yummy food to choose from.

I have more ideas, but time and money constraints prevent me from going wild (even though I'd really like to).

Hope this helps and if you want to know my other ideas just let me know and I'll be happy to provide them to you.
