Great site! My first time and I came away with several good ideas for my Thanksgiving feast. I plan on making the turkey wreath with our 5th grade buddies. We will make one for our buddies to hang on their classroom door and one for our door. (We have big classes) Also on the candle craft, we will make these for table decorations for our school feast (we won't light the candles, they are just as pretty without the fire!) instead of using beans we will used colored popcorn. VERY COLORFUL!! You can easily make this using food coloring and rubbing alcohol. Simply put regular unpopped popcorn in a ziplock bag. Seperately mix one whole squeeze bottle (must use a lot for brilliant colors) food coloring and equa; amount of rubbing alcohol. Add to ziplock bag of corn and shake (over a sink in case of a whole in bag) the corn will become colored. Pour out onto a metal tray (so it doesn't stain) I use a rectangle cake pan and dry overnight. make a bag of all the fall colors, dry and mix. Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks dltk! I'll be back.
