Salsa Verde
Ingredients:
6 medium tomatillos
18 Serrano peppers (**general rule to follow for salsa is 3 peppers for every tomato or tomatillo you
use**)
salt
garlic powder
Cilantro (optional)
Directions:
1. Boil until tomatillos and peppers are soft and change color.
2. (Tomatillos are ready sooner than the Serrano so it's okay if you remove them first and set aside until
peppers are ready.)
3. Put tomatillos and serranos in blender add salt and garlic powder to taste you can also add a few pieces
of cilantro if you wish.
4. If salsa comes out too thick you can add a little bit of the of the water that you boiled the peppers and
tomatillos in to the salsa.
