This recipe is quick, easy and tastes fantastic! I never buy cake mixes anymore! I actually got this recipe from my mother-in-law!

Chocolate Cake Ingredients:
• 2 cups flour
• 1 1/2 cup white sugar
• 5 tbsp cocoa
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 2 eggs
• 3/4 cup oil
• 1 cup warm water
• 1 tsp vanilla
Icing:
• 1/4 cup butter
• icing sugar
• warm water
• 1 tsp vanilla Directions:
1. Beat ingredients together.
2. Flour or spray bottom of the pan (I use a 9x11 cake pan)if you need to.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 min.
4. I also make cupcakes (makes around 2 dozen) with this recipe.
5. Wait for the cake to cool and make icing. If I add a cup or more of icing sugar I add a bit of warm
water till the icing is smooth.
6. Spread on cake.
