DLTK's Crafts for Kids
Native American Crafts and Activities for Kids

The "teaching of the braid" is something I'm so grateful to have learned when studying about indigenous cultures. When I braid the girls' hair or my own, I silently repeat the mantra "body, mind and spirit" over and over as I weave the three strands of hair together. It's so important to remember that body, mind and spirit are wrapped together, supporting each other and making a beautiful whole!
