DLTK's Crafts for Kids
Lion Cub Craft

For the lion cub, you will need a toilet paper roll, a printer,  something to colour with, scissors, glue, and paper (I prefer construction paper).  If you would like to see a picture of the finished craft prepared by one of our viewers, click here. 

bulletPrint out the template of choice. 
 
bulletColour (where appropriate) and cut out the template pieces. 
  
bulletGlue the large rectangular piece on first to cover the tube. 
  
bulletGlue on the tummy, head, legs and tail (using the tab to make a 3D effect)
  
bulletWe typically make the crafts as if they're sitting up on their haunches as it's easier to construct them and my children are young.   
bullet However, you can make them so they stand on all 4's (use a straw, cardboard, toothpick or stir stick glued to the back of the legs for extra support).
