Gorillamon was first seen on the show during one of the many TV broadcasts when the Digimon were invading the real world during Season 1.  

In Season 2, Gorillamon attacked the group on their way out of the DigiDiner.  Digitamamon saved the group from his initial attack, and then Michael, a DigiDestined from America, had Betamon digivolve into Seadramon in order to wrap up the battle.

In Season 3, Gorillamon emerges from a digital field in Episode 4 and attacks Terriermon.  He is also the digimon involved in the original problems which causes Henry such indecision about letting Terriermon evolve.
