Cookie Monster Toilet Paper Roll Craft  


The Cookie Monster in the photo was made by my 3 year old, Kaitlyn.  Hopefully this will give you an idea of how the crafts made by the younger kids turn out in reality.  They may not look that great to you and I, but Kaitlyn, plays with hers endlessly!

Cookie Monster is made with a toilet paper tube, a printer, a piece of paper, some crayons, scissors and glue.  I always prefer to use a heavy paper (like construction paper), but it isn't necessary. 
  

bulletPrint out the template of choice. 
 
bulletColour (where appropriate) and cut out the template pieces. 
 
bulletGlue the large rectangular piece on first to cover the tube. 
  
bulletGlue the head onto the front of the tube. 
 
bulletGlue on the arms and legs.
 
bulletGlue the cookie into one of the hands.

bulletSet page margins to zero if you have trouble fitting the template on one page (FILE, PAGE SETUP or FILE, PRINTER SETUP in most browsers).
