This spooky spider handprint will give your little ones a chance to get messy.  The children dip their hands in black paint and then press them on paper to create their spider.  Once it dries they cut it out and draw eyes (or attach wiggly eyes) and attach wool or string so that it can be hung from anywhere.

If your children don't want to get messy you can try the version where you trace the handprints on black construction paper to create the spider shape.
