Mrs. Straton and her son finished this cute bird:

I made for my in-laws upcoming 35th anniversary. It was at first going to be a
pinata but we thought the idea of hitting a bird (or any animal) was not a good
lesson for the children at the party so instead, I cut out a hole in the back where i will put candy inside or other
goodies to "dip" into. I am also making a smaller bird which will have the pull-string
event to use as a pinata for the kids.
I kept running out of available paper tissue so I used multi-colors instead of just pink and
yellow. I think the different colors really make it look festive :) |
