Make a cave style hand print by flicking dry white powder paint over the child's hand onto a wet piece of blackor brown paper.
Aboriginals left their handprints on the walls of caves.
- piece of paper (black or brown work best). Wet it with a squirt bottle or damp cloth
- white powder paint (dry)
- have the child place their hand firmly down on the damp paper
- flick dry white powder (tempra) paint over the hand and the paper
- lift hand to see the impression left behind!
