Cave Drawings ("Petroglyphs")

Make a cave style hand print by flicking dry white powder paint over the child's hand onto a wet piece of black or brown paper.

Aboriginals left their handprints on the walls of caves.

	piece of paper (black or brown work best). Wet it with a squirt bottle or damp cloth
	white powder paint (dry)

	have the child place their hand firmly down on the damp paper
	flick dry white powder (tempra) paint over the hand and the paper
	lift hand to see the impression left behind!
