Review:
(By mom on behalf of Damon and Andrew)

As a child I remember watching Alvin and the chipmunks on Saturday mornings and listening to the Christmas albums.  Watching this movie brought back memories of school and listening to the songs reminded me of childhood Christmas.  It was very similar to how I remember them.

Alvin and the chipmunks end up at a washed up songwriters house after their tree was cut down. Together they become a famous singing group and teach each other the true meaning of a family.  I found this movie was inoffensive and very cute.  It is a great movie for younger viewers.  We watched this movie during our trip to B.C.  And it kept my two boys fairly entertained, even after watching it for a fourth time.

Even better then the in looks on the previews.

Would you talk with your friends about it?

I’ll tell some kids in my class about the end when the chipmunks were singing and wearing silver outfits, that was so cool.

Did you learn anything from it?

However big or small a person or thing is, they still matter.

Questions Andrew Answered After Watching the Movie:

I liked the movie because the squirrels sing with funny voices.

Would you talk with your friends about it?

I want to watch it again.

Did you learn anything from it?

Chipmunks live in a tree and if you take the tree they won’t have a house.
