Drop of Blood Paper Craft

June 12th is World Blood Donor Day, a day to celebrate the gift of donating blood. Blood transfusions can help save countless people, so when people donate blood they are saving a life!

This cute and simple craft is a great way for kids to celebrate World Blood Donor Day and learn about the kindness of donating blood.

Materials:

• paper,
• printer,
• scissors,
• glue,
• marker,
• coloring supplies.

Instructions:

• Print out the craft template of choice.
• Color (if using the black and white version of the craft) and cut out the template pieces.
• Glue the eyes and nose onto the middle of the drop of blood.
• Glue the arms to the side of the blood drop.
• Glue the legs onto the bottom of the blood drop.
• Use a marker to draw the mouth onto the drop of blood (below the eyes and nose).

Templates:

• Close the template window after printing to return to this screen.
• Set page margins to zero if you have trouble fitting the template on one page (FILE, PAGE SETUP or FILE, PRINTER SETUP in most browsers).
