Easy Valentine's Day Crafts

I'm always looking for holiday themed activities to help the children learn their numbers, colors, shapes and ABC's.  For Valentine's Day, I designed a little chocolate box with cut outs the children can match up.

The girls were especially pleased the first year we made these -- I encouraged them to make the boxes as a Valentine's Day card for daddy.  They completed the project and I printed "Happy Valentine's Day Daddy!" on the bottom.

They proudly presented their projects to Darrren who returned the love with a REAL little chocolate box for each girl.  He managed to buy nice small ones at the grocery store with enough chocolate for a good treat but not so much for a tummy ache.
