"I used the Frankenstein Monster coloring
page from coloring.ws
as a template for decorating my son's 7th b-day cake. He's almost a
Halloween baby so he always likes a Halloween theme. This year it was
Frankenstein but I didn't want anything too scary. It worked perfectly. I
cut out the face & tacked it to the 10/13 cake with toothpicks. I
iced with white around the template. I removed the template & iced the
hair purple tinted frosting since black icing tastes so awful! Then I iced
in the face with green tinted frosting & used green & purple gel tube
colors for details - outline, eyes, eye brows, face, scar, etc. It was
really easy - took about 30 minutes to ice! The kids loved it!"
