Quite a few of you have wondered in amazement at the effort it must take to build a website. And I'll be the first to admit that this has been an exciting two years of learning for me. I'm one of those people who loved school, went to university for 5 years, articled with a firm for 3 years and when I was done looked around and said, "now what!" I love to learn and learning to build this site has proven a rewarding and challenging experience.
Having said all that, I wonder in amazement at the effort it must take to find really good quality, family-oriented websites out there. I've bumped into my share of rude and disgusting websites while innocently surfing for info on Barney the Purple Dinosaur and Sesame Street.
One person that I'm particularly amazed by is Nina (I've never met her, but we've emailed back and forth). Whenever I start a new section or struggle with revamping an old one, she comes up with a myriad of relevant and wonderful links and kindly emails them to me along with loads of her own great comments. It's almost like having a friendly editor!
I've felt guilty for hogging all of this info for myself and wanted to take this opportunity to share it with all of you (it's been on my to do list for awhile *grin*).
Enjoy Nina's links... I know I have!
