Turtle Three Dimensional Craft
Thanks to Marie for contributing this idea! This is a simple cut and paste turtle craft with a twist -- you end up with a three dimensional turtle to display or play with.
Materials:
- printer and paper
 - stapler,
 - scissors,
 - glue,
 - printer and paper
 - Optional: either wiggly eyes or white paper

Instructions:
- Print the template of choice.
 - Color the template pieces (if using the B&W version).
 - Cut slits in each corner of the large body shape.
 - Staple or tape the paper together so it overlaps slightly and forms a bowl shape.
 - Glue the eyes onto the head (moon shape).
 - Glue the head onto the front of the body
- Kaitlyn, age 8, folded the head a little and glued that onto the body (see photo at the top of this page). She was happy with this as the head lay flat on the table that way.
 - You could also just glue the head on a little higher and not fold it.

 - Fold the tabs on the feet and tail and glue them to the inside of the body

Templates:
- Close the template window after printing to return to this screen.
 - Set page margins to zero if you have trouble fitting the template on one page (FILE, PAGE SETUP or FILE, PRINTER SETUP in most browsers).
