Shortbread Cookies
Ingredients:
 • 1 lb butter
 • 1 cup cornstarch
 • 1 cup berry sugar (granulated)
 • 4 cup flour
Lemon Glaze:
 • 1 egg white; slightly beaten
 • 1 1/2 cup Powdered sugar; sifted
 • 1/2 tsp Lemon peel; grated
 • 1 tsp Lemon juice
 • Dash salt
Directions:
 1.  Mix all ingredients together. Then
     knead well. Form into shapes and
     thickness of your choice. Prick the
     tops with a fork.
 2.  Bake at 350 degrees F for about 25
     minutes.
 3.  OPTIONAL: frost with colored decorator
     frosting (you can purchase at the store) or lemon glaze (recipe below) and add sprinkles, candied
     cherries or small candies .
Lemon Glaze
 4.  Combine ingredients and beat well.
