(No Picture Available) Matzoh BallsIngredients: 3 eggs, separated 1 t. salt 3/4 c. Matzoh meal (found in most groceries) 2 t. chopped parsley Directions: 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. 2. Beat the egg whites and salt until frothy. 3. Add the yolks and continue beating. 4. Add the matzoh meal and parsley. 5. Wet your hands with water (VERY important--it will stick otherwise) and roll the mixture into small balls. 6. Drop each ball into the boiling water. 7. Cover the pot and reduce to medium heat. Cook for 30 minutes. 8. The balls will double in size. 9. Drop into chicken broth. 10. These can be made and frozen. |
