Thanks to St. John's Sunday School for contributing this recipe! Represents Jesus feeding the five thousand. Or, for something a little easier... Thanks to Terra for this suggestion! "I would like to share that on the lesson were Jesus feed five thousand with 5 loaves and 2 fish from a boys lunch, to show the children how much food that the boy had I used a can of whole sardines and dinner rolls and put it on a plate, the children were so amazed that Jesus was able to feed 5 thousand people with so little food, they had a better understanding of what a miracle it had been. One of the children gave thanks for the food and we shared it. Not everyone eat the sardines, but everyone did eat the bread." |
