Contributed by the webmaster. I thought that JoAnna's idea was so neat that I just had to give it a try for Kaitlyn's preschool Christmas party but I had two problems. We did not have Nutter Butter cookies in our stores and the preschool did not allow any peanut products due to allergies. So I had to adapt the recipe a little bit (I hope you don't mind JoAnna). We baked sugar cookies in a heart shape in place of the Nutter Butter cookies and then used chocolate frosting instead of peanut butter. Here is a picture of how our cookies turned out. |
