Jam Jam Cookies Ingredients: 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup lard 1/2 cup butter 2 eggs 2 tsp baking soda dissolved in 1/4 cup hot water 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 cup syrup 4 cups of flour (or just enough to make dough soft) Directions: 1. Combine all ingredients and place in fridge overnight 2. Roll dough into a thin layer 3. Use cookies cutter shapes to cut out 4. Bake at 350°F and watch closely as they will bake quickly 5.
