Cancer Writing Prompt
Print out the writing prompt activities with small sentence prompts to get your children writing!
Your child may choose to focus his own story on the themes within the story of Cancer the Crab, or she may let her imagination run wild. Anything is possible with fiction! I think story spark sentences are a great way to expand your child's vocabulary, and give your child the ability to get creative!
Materials:
- printer,
- paper,
- pencil
Instructions:
- Complete the story spark sentence inspired by the story of Cancer the Crab:
"Safe in the cool and calm ocean waters, protected by a great Crab, you live a happy life. Until one day when a hero comes stomping and splashing in the waters around you..."
- Write one or more paragraphs to go along with that first idea.
- Read the new story out loud!
