Description:  Burrows to suck tree roots. The mushrooms on its back grow by drawing nutrients from the bug host.  The dual Bug-Grass classification of these Pokémon is readily apparent in their appearance: Paras attack opponents with bug-like claws for frontal assaults and mushroom-like pods that shoot clouds of Stun Spores, which paralyze almost any opponent. With enough battle experience, Paras evolve into Parasect.
