Egg Carton Bumblebee Craft

A bumblebee was the very first insect I saw this spring. It was so funny to see a big, fuzzy bee flying around over a nearly melted snowbank!
In the spring, honeybee scouts roam around looking for a good place to set up the hive for the year. I assume that's what this bee was doing. There certainly aren't any flowers for him/her to sip nectar from!
I love bees and I love egg carton crafts!
Materials:
- egg carton cups
- black and yellow paint
- 2 or more googly eyes
- red construction paper
- scissors
- glue
Instructions:
Cut off one egg holder from its carton and paint it yellow.
Next, use the black paint to make stripes and a face for the bee. Also, use the white pipe cleaner to create wings for the bee. You can use the black pipe cleaner to make a stinger for the back.
Use glue to attach each piece to the egg carton you painted, and your bee is finished!
