 | Throw Pester Balls at the Metapods in the Cave level and they will drop down for a close-up. |
Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow:
| You can catch a Metapod in Viridian Forest in Blue/Red and Yellow, or look for it on Route 24 and 25 (Red/Blue only). But your best bet is to evolve it from a Caterpie at level 7. |
