Shortbread Cookies

bullet1 lb butter
bullet1 cup cornstarch
bullet1 cup berry sugar
bullet4 cup flour

Mix all ingredients together.  Then knead well.  Form into shapes and thickness of your choice.  Prick the tops with a fork.

Bake at 350 degrees F for about 25 minutes. 

OPTIONAL:  frost with colored decorator frosting (you can purchase at the store) or lemon glaze (recipe below) and add sprinkles or small candies

 

Lemon Glaze

Ingredients:

bullet1 egg white; slightly beaten
bullet1 1/2 cup Powdered sugar; sifted
bullet1/2 tsp Lemon peel; grated
bullet1 tsp Lemon juice
bulletDash salt

Directions

Combine ingredients and beat well
