All About Art Interest Badge

Note:  All aspects of the Interest Badge are listed.  However, some are not conducive to providing help over the internet. 

I've included a HELP link next to the areas where I could provide additional resources for the girls (working on their own or in groups). 

Do three of the following:

• Interview a local artist.

• Learn your primary and secondary colours.

  • HELP  The Color Wheel
        

• Visit an art gallery.

• Draw or paint on fabric or an unusual kind of paper, such as tissue paper.

  • HELP  Sand Paper Art
     

• Make a wacky sculpture out of wire, pipe cleaners or wood scraps.

• Draw a cartoon strip to illustrate your favourite book.

• Scan or download photographs into a computer and make a collage.
