Today we head for home. As nice as it is to leave on a
vacation it is always nice to be going back to the comforts of home.
I am sure that our cat Sera has been missing us.
Our drive took us through the town of Radium. Daddy told us about
how his family used to take short vacations there all the time and enjoy
the hot springs. He remembers how they could see the Mountain Sheep
jumping around on the rocks high above the hot springs pool. On this
particular day there were no sheep on the rocks above the pool.
Tasha and Kaitlyn had so enjoyed the hot springs pool at Panarama that
they were jumping at the chance to swim in another one.
Unfortunately, the pool and a chance to see the sheep would have to wait
for another trip.
We saw a few Black Bears along the road as we drove. We passed
through our familiar day trip destinations (Lake Louise, Banff and Canmore)
as we made our way home.
It was good to be back...
