Materials:
Pink Flower
- 5 pink pipe cleaners
- one yellow pipe cleaner
- one green pipe cleaner
- 16 pink beads for each pink pipe cleaner
- 17 green beads for the green pipe cleaner
- glue
- one flat magnet
Blue Flower
- 5 blue pipe cleaners
- one yellow pipe cleaner
- one green pipe cleaner
- 16 or more blue beads for each blue pipe cleaner
- 17 or more green beads for the green pipe cleaner
- glue
- one flat magnet
Instructions:
The directions will be for the pink flower, but if you are doing the blue flower, simply change "pink" to "blue" in the instructions
First, bead 16 assorted pink beads on the pink pipe cleaner. Do this to all five of your pink pipe cleaners.
Next, take a single beaded pink pipe cleaner and connect the two ends of the pipe cleaner to make a tear drop or petal shape. Do this to all five beaded pipe cleaners.
Bead your green pipe cleaner with the green beads to make the flower stem and save it for later.
Lay all five flower petals in the position you want to glue them, and do so by adding glue to the tips of each tear drop or petal shape and connecting them. If you are using a glue gun, make you sure that you get an adult to help you.
Roll one yellow pipe cleaner to make a circle and glue it to the center of the front of the flower.
Now, glue the stem you previously made to the back of the flower, and, over that, glue the magnet.
Once your glue is dry, place on your fridge (or wherever works) and enjoy!
