Materials:
- popsicle sticks
- white glue or hot glue gun
- paint, glitter, or tape (optional)
Instructions:
Place your popsicle sticks side by side. You can use as many popsicle sticks as you like; I chose to use 12 popsicle sticks across for each coaster I made.
You can make the top/bottom edges straight or jagged depending on how you want it to look.
Glue two more popsicle sticks straight across the ones you have already placed down to secure them; this will be the "bottom" of your coaster.
- Once your glue has dried, flip your coaster over and decorate the "top" side. Here are some design ideas:
I put tape on this coaster to make different shapes and painted different colors inside the spaces. Once the paint dried, I removed the tape to create a geometric pattern.
I painted different popsicle sticks to create a pattern on this coaster. I also added glitter to a few of the popsicle sticks.
I used clear glue and painted it on some sections of the coaster. I poured glitter over the coaster and let it dry. I made sure to shake the loose glitter off before using it! Enjoy!
